Dennis Morgan is a native of The Dalles. After graduating high school he joined the U.S. Air Force and, upon his return, started a family. After several years in the lumber mill industry, he began a 23 year career as a carpenter/builder, the last six years as a general contractor. In 1997 he made his move into real estate and the rest is history. Thanks to living in The Dalles for the majority of his life, Dennis is involved in many local activities. Among them, he is a founding board member of The Theatre Company of The Dalles, a 30+year veteran of umpiring high school baseball, Past President and Kiwanian of the year for Kiwanis Club (’05), past president of the Mid-Columbia Association of Realtors, State Representative and their Realtor of the Year (’04), Outstanding Citizen of the Year award from the Chamber of Commerce (’07), Outstanding Philanthropist award from Mid-Columbia Health Foundation (’08), Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary Club.

While he is proud of the awards and recognition, Dennis feels his greatest reward is the love of his family. Dennis has two grown sons who he is very proud of and a daughter who constantly amazes him with her grasp of the world. His 5 grandchildren are the light of his life. He has been married to his wonderful wife for over 29 years and they make their home in The Dalles. They both love the outdoors and, as such, they have their own whitewater raft and enjoy numerous overnight, multi-day floats every summer on the Deschutes River, the Rogue River, the Payette, and others. In addition to the rafting experiences they also enjoy bicycling, hiking, camping and, generally, anything that gets them in the “great outdoors".

After 16 years in the business, five and a half as a Principal Broker/Owner, Dennis joined the Copper West family in 2013. He feels this was one of the best decisions of his professional life and he looks forward to serving the needs of all of his past, current, and future clients in guiding them through the process of making some of the greatest financial decisions of their lives.
