Julie was raised in the Pacific Northwest and has been coming to The Columbia River Gorge since the 1980’s. Originally drawn to Hood River for its world-class windsurfing, she became a professional windsurfer and kiteboarder, ultimately winning the title of Kiteboarding World Champion in 2001.

After retiring from her career as a professional athlete, Julie and her husband returned to Hood River and starred in an episode of HGTV’s Designer’s Challenge highlighting the remodel of their downtown Craftsman home. The experience rekindled Julie’s passion for real estate and, combined with her background in communication and marketing, launched a successful real estate career that has now spanned more than two decades. Julie has represented clients in both Oregon (since 2005) and Washington (since 2006), has been active on the boards of both local and state REALTOR® Associations, and has been recognized by her peers as Oregon REALTOR® of the Year (2024) and twice as MCAR REALTOR® of the Year (2015 and 2019).

When not assisting her clients, you will find Julie mountain biking, wing foiling, kiteboarding, volunteering, or spending time outdoors in The Gorge with her husband and two kids.
