When a business walks away from a building, somehow it’s for the good of the investors. When a person does it….it’s a deep flaw in personal integrity. How’s that again?

Great article by Roger Lowenstein. Think about it….

    It really is a flaw in our societal outlook, where we can see that something that is clearly immoral for the individual is not considered so for a corporation. Is it not only good upstanding individuals who make up those organizations? Businesses really should be held to a higher standard than they are.

    I would agree. Amazing how personal responsibility can hide in a crowd….But on the other side of the coin, isn’t turnabout then fair play? If a corporation can do it, then why not an individual, a self proclaimed one person “corporation?” I agree with his comments, that MORE people acting like corporations might actually bring about the correction and cleanout we need………Boy I could jump on either side of that agument all night long…… :)
