Another, Stunner………

Property on the Deschutes River (one of the finest Fly Fishing Rivers in the world, apparently) Is so rare. When I saw this one come up, I had to take a look. 100 acres, multiple river access points, a world class stretch of Kayak Playboating (I can personally vouch for that) and all in a remote Deschutes Canyon. Too bad I can’t talk my clients into jumping on this one, it’s one in a million. The new owner will only be the third person ever to own the property since the late 1800′s

Back up to speed.

Well……..that was alot shorter than I thought it would be. Our correction appears to be (mostly) in the rear view mirror. Prices very quickly marked down about 20-30% and the Buyers all returned. Lots of renters now here, moved in, looking to buy.

From a development side of things, there is so much opportunity I can hardly stand it. I’ve been so impressed with the quality of the looks I’ve had in the last couple of weeks.

Our agents continue to impress. Carmen got part of a transaction this week, and Judy got two. Hunter just listed a beautiful property On Montello Street in Downtown Hood River It’s a for real mid century california rancher, on a biiig lot. Someone is going to fall in love with it.

Sold some Orchard property this week too. wow. Crazy views. Nice pieces all around.

Market is firing on all cylinders again. Full speed ahead.

Picking up some steam……

No reason to start firming up on asking price yet, but things are moving again……..Still a Buyer’s market, though.

Judy has a raft of Buyers, and has been doing a great Job! We all got out to Our Stevenson listing, and the property is very well priced for Stevenson. Lots of square footage, good quality and location…

Stevenson is going off as well! Quite frankly, long overdue. There’s been so much Dalles Hype of late………….

Signs of life-

Not a bad couple of weeks. Lots of buyers, lots of negotiating, some pretty interesting deals……..

I’d say things are back in gear, but at a solid floor, some 20% (Tentatively) less than the Summer height…….so….I’d mark it to a little over a year ago, for a net of about 4-6% gain in 2006 YTD.

Now, that seems low, so I sense the idea of the market “collapsing” is oversold a bit……so……….that means buy…………..

That’s our story, and we’re stickin to it…….
