Whew!

What a week. Lots of listing action heading into the Memorial day weekend. It’s a funny time here in HR. weakness in some areas, blowout strength in others. The jitters have largely gone away, but I read an NAR report this week and it spoke of a “Soft Landing” which I find hard to believe after reading news from San Diego and parts south. I also noticed that the economists report had expanded axis disease (Which is where they adjust the scale to smooth out results so they don’t look so alarming)
Which is to say………..that fluidity is where it’s at, intrinsic value is intrinsic value, and………well, dogs remain dogs.
Score one for the Buyers this week. inventory is up, the sun will be out, and Hood River will shine this summer!
Here’s the new properties from this week!
How about that view!

This one is great. Nice 2.6 Acre parcel with really tough to find view of the valley. Its convenient location make it one of those sought after properties. It includes a double wide home in great shape for you to live in while you site and build a new home.

Flat, buildable property on HR’s Westside……

It’s amazing how park-like a well cared for acre+ lot can feel. I’d want to make it my own personal retreat, but…….well, lets just say this one is in the path of progress. Sitting near the edge of the current growth boundary, this property is scheduled to be pulled into the city and be served by sewer before too long. It’s a nice piece and it too comes with a very nice mobile home to live in while you decide what to do next. Remember, we build on these pieces so that we don’t sprawl out into the farmlands………..

Nice Fixer!

Ok, so there’s only one photo…..That’s because it’s a fixer! Give us a call on this one, It will go pretty quicky………..
And Finally………

Your Choice of River Views! There’s this very compact development on the bluff in Hood River. One of the really cool aspects of it is that you can, from the same house, see both the Hood River and the Columbia. 7 East Pointe is one of those townhomes. very nice. Well built, and barely used since it was built in 2004.
